Aerobic Anaerobic Units

Home Wastewater Treatment Plants Aerobic Anaerobic Units

Biological WWT plant type “BP EUROTREAT” is made in container implementation, so it is easy for embedding and can be associated to another to make bigger waste water treatment plant. Outside and partitions walls are made from wall elements and polypropylene sheets. Machine – technological equipment of WWTP contains from:

  • source of pressed air (blowers)
  • fine-bubble aeration system and
  • electrical switch board

It is considered BOD5 of 60g per day for one population equivalent (PE) and 150 l of wastewater per day what is in conformity with European norm EN 12566-3 and 12255. Guaranteed outlet values are:

  • BOD5 25 mg/l,
  • COD 100 mg/l and
  • SS 25 mg.

Partition

BP EUROTREAT K (3-25 PE) – is biological waste water treatment plant used for treating domestic waste water of the family houses, small companies, hotels etc. capacity till 25 PE. It is considered BOD5 of 60g per day for one population equivalent (PE) and 150 lt. of wastewater per day what is in conformity with European norm EN 12566-3 and 12255. Guaranteed outlet values  are BOD5 25 mg/l, COD 120 mg/l.

BP EUROTREAT N (25-170 PE) – is biological waste water treatment plant used for treating communal waste water for: hotels small villages etc, factories etc capacity till 1.000 PE. It is made in container implementation, so it is easy for embedding and can be associated to another to make bigger waste water treatment plant.
It is considered BOD5 of 60g per day for one population equivalent (PE) and 150 lt. of wastewater per day what is in conformity with European norm EN 12566-3 and 12255. Guaranteed outlet values are BOD5 25 mg/l, COD 100 mg/l, SS 25 mg.
BPEUROTREAT N/pump (25-170 PE)– it is used when sewage is too deep so it is more economical to put device and sewage shallower.

Description of the tehnology

The sediments and light-weight elements are retained in the cleaning area (A). The mechanically cleared water flows into the activation area (B), which can be equipped with biomass carrier. The organic matter is transformed by activation.

The parameters allow necessary conditions for nitrification. The sedimentation of the biological sludge (which is returned to the activation area) takes place in the cleaning tank (D). The device’s outlet is regulated by the mammoth pump (F). All the superfluous sludge is automatically discharged, at regular intervals, from the activation area into the discharge area.

Maintance Operation

LIST OF MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS

The plant is designed so as not to requite permanent attendance. Once on, it is necessary to carry out regular checks and the operations described below.

Visual check
The regular visual check is a primary condition for successful operation of the plant. After opening the lid check:

  • Function of aerating
  • effluent trough and pipe
  • connecting hole
  • overall situation

Check of the volume of activated sludge and taking of samples
The volume of sludge in the activation zone must be checked as follows:

  • Using a ladle on a stick take water from the activation and pour it into Inhofe cone of 1-liter graduated cylinder
  • The filled Imhoffe cone (or graduated cylinder), usually a 1-liter cylinder with water and sludge must be put on a leveled surface and let settle down for 30 min.
  • Watch at what height there is a distinct border between water and sludge settled on the bottom.

Extraction of excess sludge Sludge is extracted using a cesspool vehicle by inserting a suction basket to the bottom of the sludge zone. The sludge zone is accessible after opening (removing) of the smell-tight lid.To ensure proper sludge extraction from the sludge zone it is necessary to break the top, usually grease cake, using the reverse run of the cesspool vehicle and mix the volume of the sludge zone and then extract the sludge to the cesspool vehicle.

  • Switch off the blower before inserting the suction basket.
  • Insert the suction basket to the sludge zone carefully so as not to thrust the bottom of the tank or the technical partition walls.
  • As the operators of the cesspool vehicle to break the cake and mix the content of the sludge zone using reverse run.
  • Fill the sludge zone with clean water right after sludge extraction (e.g. by opening a tap in the connected building) and switch on the blower.
  • Do not empty other zones of the plant tank except for the sludge zone.

On your request, we can offer you WWTP, capacity from 1000 – 5000 PE.
